I've been watching the movie :Rise of Darkrai: and i must say i enjoyed the movie and made me want to draw Darkrai. 
I've been working with this art in several hours, can't exactly tell, but worked in several days and hard on it.
It wasn't easy to chose a background to it, but afterward i decided to create a moon eclipse as the BG.
The orange lines around it is supposed to glow around him, but i am not that satisfied how it turned out, so i tried to mix it with the smudge tool and stroked carefully around the lines to give some nice effect.
And the moon eclipse effect was done with GIMP.
I half like it and half dislike it, but you can judge.
The digital art was done in September of 2009
